Rhapsody

What is Rhapsody?

Rhapsody is a community work that enlivens outdoor settings and parks and harnesses the unique spirit and talents of its diverse cast of performers to create a moving celebration of art-making, humanity, and shared space. Each version of Rhapsody is shaped and informed by its unique setting and singular cast members of dancers and non-dancers. Rhapsody is a collaboration between Artistic Director Larry Keigwin, K+C dancers, and the cast.

Supporters of Rhapsody have included Domino Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, Vail Dance Festival, Hudson River Park & the Friends of Hudson River Park, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, National Endowment for the Arts, New York State Council on the Arts, and with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
