BIRD WATCHING

Repertory

Bird Watching was made possible by a grant from the Jerome Robbins New Essential Works (NEW) Program, in partnership with the Rockefeller Brothers Fund’s Charles E. Culpepper Arts and Culture Grants and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s. Bird Watching was developed and rehearsed in part at the Baryshnikov Arts Center.

“A surprisingly delicate yet glittering metaphor—A mediation on spring plumage, flock dynamics, and beauty. It was more of a ballet, and with a lighter touch, than many new classical works of the last few years.” –Laura Jacobs, The New Criterion, 2010
