(Dancer) originates from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where, before launching into the dance world, he began his movement exploration as a gymnast and soccer player. Prior to relocating to New York City, Matthew received his BFAin Dance from Western Michigan University in April 2008. In addition to his work with KEIGWIN + COMPANY, Matthew has also danced in NYC with Keith Thompson and Mark Dendy. In 2010 Matthew enjoyed assisting Larry Keigwin in choreographing Vogue’s “Fashion Night Out: The Show”, New York’s largest fashion show in history. Also in 2010, Matthew began dancing for fellow K+C company member Liz Riga’s and Rachel Mckinstry’s “Launch Movement Experiment”. Since joining the company in February of 2009, Matthew has loved dancing and learning with the artists of K+C and is looking forward to the discoveries still to come. He would like to thank his family and friends for their love and continued support.
