JACLYN K. WALSH (dancer) began her training at Walker’s Dance in Lowell, Massachusetts, furthering her studies at the Walnut Hill School under the direction of Michael Owen. During this time, she performed in France and Germany, receiving the Bronze Medal representing the USA in the Female Solo Division at the World Showdance Championship in Riesa. Jaclyn graduated with her BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she received the Tisch Achievement Scholarship in Dance. Here she had the privilege to perform works by Susan Marshall and Ronald K. Brown. Her choreography has been presented at the 92nd St. Y Fridays at Noon series , Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival, American Dance Guild Festival, Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, in Wes Veldink's Japan benefit show NYC FOR JPN, raising funds for CARE-WAVE, New York University's Past/Forward, SummerStage Main Stage in Central Park and Dancers Responding to Aids Dancin' Downtown at the Joyce Theater in New York City where her  she received The Choreography Award, the highest honor at Dancers Responding to Aids Dancin‘ Downtown at the Joyce 2012. Jaclyn performed as a featured dancer in the cast of New York University's Tisch Gala 2012 with appearances by Alec Baldwin, Tony Kushner and Martin Scorsese. She also performed in the Target Fall Fashion Gala at Terminal 5, broadcast live over Times Square. Ms. Walsh was featured with her students in Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher Magazine. She enjoys teaching all over the country and is currently on faculty at the Dance Academy of North Jersey and Crunch Fitness, as well as a master teacher in the Contemporary Variations Series at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Jaclyn is currently a member of Larry Keigwin's KEIGWIN + COMPANY. As a Keigwin dancer, she has been honored with opportunities of performing in such acclaimed venues such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York City and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, to name a few. She is thrilled to be celebrating K+C's 10th Anniversary! Jaclyn currently resides in Manhattan.
